The Week of Culture of the Turkic States continues in Ashgabat, timed to coincide with the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY).

Within the framework of the Week, artists from the member countries of the organization hold joint photo exhibitions and expositions of children's drawings, concerts of musical and dance-folklore groups.

Creative delegations from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan closely cooperate with Turkmen artists. The fruits of joint work are unforgettable concert numbers, giving joy and pleasure to the participants and guests of a large creative forum.

One example of friendly interaction was the concert program prepared by groups of Turkic-speaking countries together with the Orchestra of Turkmen Folk Instruments of the Turkmen State Special Music School named after. D. Ovezov at TNC named after M. Kulyyeva.

National dances of the Turkic peoples were presented on the stage of the National Music and Drama Theatre named after Magtymguly, and the musicians of the «Şirwan» orchestra accompanied the performances of the artists.

The concert of the masters of culture of the Turkic-speaking countries was appreciated not only by the audience, but also by distinguished guests. Thus, the General Secretary of the International Organization of Turkic Culture, Sultanbay Rayev, who was present in the hall, presented souvenirs to the heads of creative teams on behalf of TURKSOY.

The conductor of the «Şirwan» orchestra, Gadam Jumagulyyev, received a memorable gift.

–We are very glad that we had the opportunity to work with artists representing the culture of the Turkic peoples, –Gadam Jumagulyyev shares his impressions. –Students play in our orchestra, so getting acquainted with the musical works of famous composers of the Turkic world was very useful for them in terms of cultural and professional exchange.

The honorary medal of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) was awarded to the teacher of the Turkmen State Special Music School named after. D. Ovezov at TNC named after M. Kulyyeva Dovlet Danatarov. Earlier, bagshy from Turkmenistan took part in a tour organized on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the creation of TURKSOY.

As the artists noted, joint work once again enriched their horizons, contributed to honing their skills and professional growth.
