The gallery of the French Institute in Ashgabat hosts a vernissage of photographs and collages representing a new kind of art - digital art. The director of the French Institute Romain Gouvernay addressed the first visitors of the vernissage with a welcoming speech, noting that the purpose of this exhibition is the desire to bring digital culture as a new form of art to a wide range of people.

In total, 14 creative works were presented, combining digital works of art, documentaries, and video games. Thematically, the works are divided into several sections, the main of which are "The History of the Internet" and "The place of man in the material and virtual ecosystem".

It is noteworthy that Antoine Schmitt is the author of one of the works presented at the vernissage. It should be recalled that he was a co-participant in the choreographic performance "Myselves", which took place last month on the stage of the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater. And the current vernissage is a logical continuation of the manifestation of digital culture in the form of avant-garde fine art.

Visitors to the exhibition, and these are students of the French Institute, artists and journalists, carefully examining the works, delved into the changes caused by the digital revolution, and got acquainted with its main concepts.
