Outstanding figures of science, culture, musical art, theorists and musicologists will take part in the upcoming International Scientific and Practical Conference «The Problem of Formation of National Composer Schools in a Multicultural Space», which is being prepared in Moscow.

A big event in the music world is scheduled for autumn 2023 and timed to coincide with the 85th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen composer Nury Halmammedov, who is one of the luminaries of national music.

The works of the Turkmen composer are appreciated and performed by world-class musicians, symphony orchestras, and are sung over the cradle, perceived as folk tunes.

The purpose of the planned conference, which will be held in full-time form within the framework of the VII Moscow International Festival of Arts «Sounds of Dutar» named after Nury Halmammedov, will be an attempt to comprehend the phenomenon of national composer schools and their founders.

Leading scientists in the field of art history, cultural studies, pedagogy, social and cultural activities will present their research.

The organizing committee of the festival together with the Russian State Library (FGBU RSL) invites interested parties to participate.
