On September 1, on the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, all theaters of the country will host performances dedicated to the life and work of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy.

In 2024, our country will widely celebrate the 300th anniversary of the outstanding poet. The grand opening of a large cultural and park complex and the majestic monument of Magtymguly is expected on the occasion of the remarkable date.

Recently, while making a working trip around the capital, the National Leader of the Turkmen people spoke about the expediency of organizing stage productions dedicated to Magtymguly Pyragy in the country's theaters with the participation of schoolchildren and students.

The Hero-Arkadag also stressed the importance of wide popularization of Pyragy's immortal poems, his glorification in modern works of Turkmen writers.

Honoring the rich literary heritage of the classic, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov dedicated his new author's poem "Magtymguly Pyragy’s Storehouse of Mind" to the poet's work.

The presentation of the poetic work took place on August 18 at a solemn conference at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater of Turkmenistan.
