The exhibition center of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan hosted the opening of the anniversary exhibition of works by Gulnaz Rozykulova took.
More than 100 works were exhibited by the artist on her 60th birthday, surprising art admirers with her creativity. According to genres, the works were divided into several expositions, the main of which is devoted to landscapes, and not urban, but suburban.
Looking at them, it seemed that Gulnaz spends a lot of time on country trips, looking for beautiful places. Using the technique of photorealism, she meticulously draws the roughness on the trunks of trees, every leaf, every blade of grass, with tiny strokes, and the landscape turns out to be fabulous. So the paintings "Gekdere", "Gorge", "Mardin", "Mountains" and others were born.
There is a painting "Snow" among the artist's works. In cold snowy weather Gulnaz left the cozy warmth of home and went on a country trip in search of new impressions. As a result, the artist's brush fixed two hills covered with a plentiful layer of snow, and a whirlpool of falling snowflakes. This painting has become one of the best landscapes of Gulnaz Rozykulova.
Impressions from trips to architectural and historical monuments of the Middle Ages also found a place in the artist's work, both in landscape and still life genres.
Closely communicating among creative personalities, Gulnaz created a portrait gallery of the most pleasant artists and musicians to her. The portraits of the ceramist Solmaz Mukhammedova and the legendary music teacher Harold Neymark were particularly successful. The portraits also have similarities with the original, character and mood.
Her painting "Music by Nury Halmamedov in the movie "The Decisive Step" is interesting. Gulnaz portrayed the composer unrecognizably young, at the beginning of his career, but already declared the possession of a colossal talent.
One of the sections of Gulnaz's work is national still lifes. Antique jewelry, nobly shining with silver and carnelian, excite not only the artist, but the audience admiring Gulnaz's skill in conveying the fine taste of a jeweler.
Judging by the exhibited works, Gulnaz was lucky enough to visit Turkey, Egypt and the Pamir. Impressions of these places can be found in all sections of the anniversary exhibition.
