On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and thinker of the East Magtymguly Pyragy, the Turkmen State Publishing Service has released a number of books dedicated to the heritage of the classic of Turkmen literature.

Mukhammetguly Amansakhedov, the author of one of the novelties, the head of the department of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi, Doctor of Philology, investigated the multifaceted personality of the poet.

The book "Magtymguly Pyragynyń şahyrana şahsyýeti" contains 12 chapters in which the poetic and philosophical aspect of the works of Magtymguly Pyragy is considered as well as his spiritual quest, national identity and humanistic views. Theoretically substantiating the artistic world of the poet, the author proves that the literary heritage of Magtymguly has deep philosophical meanings.

Mukhammetguly Amansakhedov's scientific research is a unique source for studying complex issues of folklore and classical literature. The book will be useful for researchers, historians and philologists studying the work of Magtymguly, as well as for teachers and students of higher educational institutions.

Another valuable publication of this year is the collection of scientific articles "Magtymguly Pyragy – dünýä danasy", prepared by the teaching staff of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi. The collection contains materials devoted to the legacy of Magtymguly, examines the influence of the classic on Turkmen and world literature.

In turn, the teaching staff of the M. Garryev Turkmen State Medical University, together with the student youth, presented the poetic dedication of Magtymguly Pyragy to the audience.

There are subtle lyrical poems by students and teachers on the pages of the publication "Kalplara sińen Pyragy". As noted in the preface of the book, this collection is inspired by the instructions of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the achievements of his native Fatherland, and the immortal legacy of the great poet, who is an integral part of world literature.
