President of Turkmenistan receives the Executive Director of the Turkmenistan –U.S. Business Council

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Executive Director of the Turkmenistan –U.S. Business Council Eric Stewart, who arrived in the Turkmen capital leading the US representative delegation to take part in the II US Business Exhibition and the Turkmen-U.S. Business forum.

Exchanging the views on the prospects for further enhancing of the trading and economic relations that have proved their efficiency and mutual demand within the years of joint work, the Turkmen leader and his guest emphasized the significance of active work of the Turkmen-U.S. Business Council that provides assistance in organization of business meetings, traditional business forums and expositions of goods of the US leading companies demonstrating the interest in strengthening their positions at the prospective Turkmen market.

Underlining the significant role of the US companies in successful implementation of the state strategy of the social and economic development aimed at modernization of all branches of the national economy and introduction of the best world experience and the most advanced technologies, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the positive experience of successful cooperation accumulated within the last years would promote developing and implementing new joint projects in various spheres, and, first of all, the trading and economic, fuel and energy sectors, the sphere of informative technologies, telecommunications and communications, agriculture, as well as a number of other priority areas.

Wishing every success to the business talks that promoted to establishing direct, close contacts between the governmental, state and private structures of the two countries, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed belief that the business forum would offer a powerful incentive to the traditional intergovernmental dialogue and development of the most efficient forms of the bilateral cooperation, diversification of which satisfied the interests of Turkmenistan and the United States.
