A number of parallel events are planned on the sidelines of the upcoming September 14-15 Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of States of Central Asia and the meeting of the Council of Heads of the Founding States of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea (IFAS). They envisage the participation of all Central Asian states and are aimed at further development of cooperation of the region’s countries in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

These events include: Economic Forum, International Exhibition of National Products, meeting of members of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asia, Exhibition of Artists, First Forum of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions, Meeting of Ministers of Transport and Solemn Concert of Masters of Culture and Art of the Central Asian States.

Turkmenistan will be represented at the concert by a large group of artists, which includes famous pop singers, musicians, dancers, artists of youth creative collectives. Among them are the famous pop singer, People's Artist of Turkmenistan Gulshat Gurdova, popular singer Zuleikha Kakaeva, musician of the orchestra of the folklore dance ensemble of the Akhal velayat Guvanch Yazmammedov, winners of the presidential award "Türkmeniń Altyn asyry" dance ensemble "Näzli" and dance-music, folklore ensemble "Laçyn".
