The State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan conducted by Rasul Klychev is preparing for the opening of a new musical season.
The concert program "Tchaikovsky Symphony № 4" and "Masterpieces of World Symphonic Music" will be presented on the stage of the Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center on September 30.
The Fourth Symphony is one of the iconic works of the brilliant Russian composer. Written in 1877, the symphony was the result of all of Tchaikovsky's previous work. It formed a new type of symphonic music – a psychological drama. The opening of the musical season with this grandiose composition sets a very high bar for the whole of coming year.
It is worth noting that the Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan never stops at the achieved successes. Continuing to improve their performing skills, the team is actively working on the implementation of the most daring creative projects.
It is enough to recall the past musical season, which turned out to be quite eventful for both musicians and the orchestra's artistic director Rasul Klychev. In addition to the fact that the band delighted Turkmen residents with unforgettable concerts, representatives of the orchestra also visited abroad.
This summer, the Youth Chamber Orchestra of Turkmenistan conducted by Rasul Klychev took part in the International Festival of Young Performers held in the ancient town of Bayreuth in southern Germany.
As part of the general theme of the music festival – "Rituals", concerts of Turkmen musicians were held under the thematic title "Sounds of the Karakum winds". The repertoire of the collective presented all the diversity of Turkmen classical music, as well as the heritage of European composers.
Recently, representatives of the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the baton of conductor Rasul Klychev performed in Bishkek at the gala concert on the occasion of the opening of the XVI Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS Member States. The concert program consisted of musical compositions from the most famous films of the CIS countries.
In the combined composition of the CIS Youth Symphony Orchestra, Turkmen musicians performed a composition by Nury Halmamedov, written for the movie "The Decisive Step". Representatives of Kyrgyzstan, Russian conductors, as well as Rasul Klychev performed at the conductor's desk.
In addition, the chamber orchestra visited a children's music school in Bishkek.
The impressions received from trips and meetings with classical music lovers from different countries inspired the musicians to create a new concert program.
