In order to implement various activities in the Caspian Sea, define its international and legal status, and to ensure the practical solutions of tasks on cooperation between the Caspian states and coordination of work of the ministries and sectoral departments of Turkmenistan in the Caspian Sea, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving the membership of the Interdepartmental commission of Turkmenistan on the Caspian Sea and appointing the Vice Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan the Chairman of the Commission.
