President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Mr. Cevdet Yilmaz, Minister of Development of the Republic of Turkey, who had arrived in our country leading a representative delegation to participate in the International Conference on Refugees in the Muslim World.

During the meeting the President of Turkmenistan and the Minister of Development of the Republic of Turkey discussed the existing situation and the prospects for further development of the intergovernmental relations given the accumulated experience of partnership and huge potential for cooperation. The Turkmen leader and his guest exchanged their views on a number of issues of the international and regional policy representing a particular interest for the both countries.

President of Turkmenistan and his high-ranking guest expressed belief in successful continuation of the multi-aspect cooperation in the name of further fostering of the ties of friendship and fraternity between the peoples of Turkmenistan and Turkey.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Turkmenista Shevki Mutevellioglu attended the meeting.
