The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Austria closed. The large-scale artistic forum initiated by the heads of the two countries – Turkmenistan and the Republic of Austria was a great success in the friendly country turned into a bright cordial holiday.
This cultural action can be called a historical event as it served as another important incentive for developing the integration processes, creation of favourable conditions for free development and exchange of the cultural and educational values.
As was reported, the events taken place with the framework of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Austria familiarized the sophisticated public of Vienna with the national folklore, diversity and bright palette of the modern musical art, folk and applied art and cinematography of our country.
Concerts, exhibition, film festival, and meetings held within the framework of the cultural action gathered together a lot of people wishing to know more about Turkmenistan, and the rich culture of the Turkmen people.
As was reported, within the framework of the programme prepared for our delegates to Austria, the members of the Turkmen delegation visited the sights of Vienna. In this regard, it should be noted that Austrian colleagues shared their impressions of the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people they gained visiting museums and sights of the Turkmen capital within the Days of Culture of Vienna in Ashgabat in 2010.
The solemn ceremony of closing the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Austria took place in the Odeon Theater, which hosted the exhibition of the funds of the Main National Museum of Turkmenistan. The ceremony participants expressed deep gratitude to the Presidents of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Austria for the policy of versatile partnership, widening the frames of the useful cultural contacts between the friendly states. Then, musicians and singers of the orchestra of the Palace of Mukams of the National Cultural Center of Turkmenistan performed a big concert.
