On the eve of celebration of Day of revival, unity and poetry of Magtymguly, the museums and exhibition halls of the country opened a series of festive expositions of productions of painting, sculpture, photo, carpet and jewelry articles, which expressively narrate the history of glorious events, taking place in our state, dreams and intentions of the Turkmen people glorified in eternal poetry of Magtymguly.
The exposition entitled “The fate of the Turkmen will rise”, which consists of two parts, was opened at the Main National Museum of the country. The first one displays documentary photographs of significant moments in life of the Turkmen society. Owing to them, it is possible to retrace the history of formation of the young state from the very first days of independence. Also it displays the productions of sculpture, painting, carpets, in which the artists reproduced the major state symbols that glorify the constitutional foundations of our country – majestic monuments of Constitution, Independence Monument and Arch of Neutrality.
In the second part of the exposition, the visitors can familiarize with exhibits from storeroom of the museum, which are connected somehow or other with life and creativity of the great Magtymguly. Besides the portraits of the poet, it was exhibited ancient carpet articles belonging to the mid of XIX and beginning of XX centuries as well as carpet canvases with the image of Gerkez in the spring. Gerkez is the motherland of Magtymguly, where solemn events devoted to the favorite poet of the people will be held these days. All exhibits unite together the historical landmarks of development of the Turkmen society and at the same time, they are amazing works of art. Publications with the literary productions of Magtymguly of different years, including books published abroad and in different languages adorn the exposition. Admirers of the poet’s creativity are able to see ancient samples of the jewelry art; since, he was a jeweler as well. His poetic spirit was often incarnated in the melody of silver adornments.
At the exhibition, it is possible to see the publications, portraits, sculptural and carpet images of a whole series of famous classics of Turkmen literature – Seydi, Nizami, Mollanepes, Mataji, Andalip, Gurbannazar Ezizov and Berdi Kerbababyev, whose creativity continues to live and to be topical.
And the National Fine Arts Museum presented the works of famous masters of the artistic brush as A.Almamedov, V.Pavlotzkiy, A.Khajiyev. Ye.Adamova, K.Amanov and of other outstanding artists of Turkmenistan. The plots of canvases are sunny, poetical, warmed up with love for the nature, native land, where the image of a national became the ideal. Every picture represented at the festive exposition is the source of love and goodness. They keep a bright story about eternal beauty of the world, tireless search for justice of objective reality, happy and harmonious life.
Also the artists reflect truthfully and clearly the glorious pages of the history of Turkmenistan, creating unrepeatable images of historical individuals. Magtymguly – the pride of the Turkmen people appears as the hero of the current exhibition. His verses and poems close to the folk creativity by language and poetical modes kept in the memory of the people became the source of wisdom and poetic inspiration for descendants. And now, his lyric poetry filled with socio-philosophical motives, patriotic and humanistic ideas has strongest influence on contemporaries.
In festive days, schoolchildren became the frequent visitors of the museums. Examining the works of art, the children stay long at the exhibits, listening attentively to the stories of the guides about heroic past of Turkmenistan and its wonderful present.
