President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov considered new architectural projects and the progress in implementing a number of important construction projects in the Turkmen capital.
In the morning President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov walked from the Oguzkhan palace complex and headed to the Galkynysh Avenue considering various buildings located on the main street.
Near the complex of buildings affiliated to the Ministry of Defence of Turkmenistan, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the report of Minister of Defence B. Gundogdyev. Then the Turkmen leader instructed Vice Premier A. Egeleev and Ashgabat Khyakim Sh. Durdylyev on the primary tasks of the urban planning programme implemented in Ashgabat.
The President of Turkmenistan headed to the special area, where he considered the projects drafted by the Polimeks Turkish Construction Company in accordance with the Turkmen leader’s instructions.
In particular, draft projects of new large memorial complex that would include the monuments in commemoration of Turkmen soldiers who died a hero's death in the struggle against fascism in 1941-1945, and victims of the damaging earthquake in Ashgabat in 1948 that took many lives, were presented to the Turkmen leader for consideration there.
The President of Turkmenistan also considered the layouts of future industrial park, the drafts of modern municipal lighting systems, as well as the project of the Congress Center to be built in the Avaza National Tourism Zone, and a number of other important projects.
Within the framework of the working trip around the Turkmen capital, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the venue for arranging large international forums to see the equipment supplied to assembly halls designed for hosting various talks and meetings of representative delegations. In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan gave a number of specific instructions to ensure the high level of organisation of international events.
After considering the projects, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov headed to the Oguzkent Hotel, which high class underlines the new status of Ashgabat as a large center of the regional and international cooperation.
It should be noted that the Turkmen leader paid significant attention to the progress in implementing construction of this hotel that received a high rank as an important part of the infrastructure of the modern industry of hospitality created in our country.
