«Ýaş innowatorlar» competition invites talented high school students

This year marks ten years since the opening of the Technology Centre – the leading structure of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, combining science, education and production into a powerful resource for the innovative development of the country. In connection with this date, the ANT Technology Centre, together with the Ministry of Education, announces a competition of scientific and creative works «Ýaş innowatorlar» among students of grades 10-11 of secondary schools in the country.

The competition is held with the aim of educating a highly educated young generation with a broad outlook and modern knowledge, increasing the interest of young people in innovative technologies, identifying and encouraging talented and creatively thinking schoolchildren.

Competitive works are accepted in five thematic areas:

– Chemistry, ecology;

– Physics, energy;

– Biology, agriculture, healthcare and healthy lifestyle;

– Information technology, mathematics;

– Technologies and technical creativity.

The competition is held in three stages – at the level of etrap (city), velayat and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag and the final round. The district (city) stage of the competition will take place on the 6th of May, 2024, the regional stage, including the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, on the 20th of May, 2024, and the final round on the 10th of June, 2024. The first two stages of the competition are organized by the relevant education departments, and the final round will be conducted by the organizing committee and jury, created by a joint order of the ANT Technology Centre and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

In the final round of the competition, 15 works from each velayat, the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag will take part, taking the first three places in each thematic area. Creative works can be completed by one or two high school students. For each thematic area, the competition jury awards one first, two second and three third places.

Participants of the competition who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places at the competition stage in etraps, velayats, and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag will receive first, second and third degree diplomas. The winners of the final round will be awarded first, second and third degree diplomas from the ANT Technology Centre and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and valuable gifts.
