In the second ten days of July in the Youth Capital of Russia-2024 - the city of Vladivostok hosted the XII All-Russian Congress of Councils of Young Scientists and Student Scientific Societies.
The event took place in the Far Eastern Federal university, where more than a thousand delegates gathered - representatives of the Councils of Young Scientists (SMU), Student scientific societies (SSS), communities of competition winners “Leaders of Russia”, young scientists - recipients of measures state support, winners of the Presidential Prize Russian Federation in the field of science and innovation for young people scientists, as well as teachers, graduate students, students, members other youth scientific communities from different countries.
The congress brought together young scientists and experts from all regions Russia, as well as guests from foreign countries - China, Algeria, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Our country was represented at the event by Shageldy Charyev, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technologies Engineering and Technological University of Turkmenistan named after Oguz Khan.
A rich program was prepared for the delegates of the congress, which included master classes, panel discussions with with the participation of leading Russian scientists, experts, top speakers, leaders in science and technology, lectures from young scientists and laureates of the Presidential Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of science and innovation for young scientists, as well as numerous educational and educational events.
The event became a reliable platform for building communications between SSS and SMU of different universities, as well as involving young scientists in solving critical development problems society, including in the implementation of the Strategy for scientific-technological development of Russia and initiatives of the Decade of Science and technologies announced in the Russian Federation from 2022 to 2031.
Participation in the congress allowed young scientists to more widely look at the possibilities and prospects of scientific communities, international scientific cooperation, as well as exchange experience, gain new knowledge, expand useful connections among colleagues from participating countries and different parts of Russia.
All-Russian Congress of Councils of Young Scientists and Students scientific societies is held annually on behalf of the President RF and is included in the events of the Decade of Science and technologies.
The organizer of the event is the Coordination Council for Youth Affairs in the Scientific and Educational Spheres of the Council under
President of the Russian Federation for Science and Education under support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The congress is held with the aim of stimulating young scientists to solving leading problems in the field of science and technology, active participation in social development, as well as strengthening cooperation between youth scientific communities and promotion of scientific and technical innovations.
