Graduate of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Serdar Rakhymov presented country at the Forum of Finalists of the Youth Competition CIS international affairs named after A.A. Gromyko, held in Moscow from July 22 to 25.
The event brought together representatives of leading universities, academic institutions, government bodies, public and business structures from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
The competition was organized by the Association foreign policy studies named after A.A. Gromyko, MGIMO Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Institute of Europe RAS, Academy of Management at President of the Republic of Belarus.
During the forum, the director of the Institute addressed the participants Europe RAS A.A. Gromyko, Deputy Chairman of the Committee Russian Federation Council for International Affairs A.A. Klimov, Rector of MGIMO, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.V. Torkunov, official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, director Department of Information and Press of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia M.V. Zakharov,
Rector of the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus I.I. Buzovsky and others.
Working sections of the event took place at two main sites – at the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences and MGIMO University of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
On the sidelines of the forum, the finalists worked on analytical reports and presented the main theses and practical recommendations to colleagues and experts of the Association foreign policy researchers.
The participants visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, where a meeting was held with the director of the Third Department of CIS countries A.V. Sternik.
As part of the cultural and educational program there was an excursion to the Victory Museum was organized.
This year over 560 people out of 10 took part in the competition CIS countries. More than 50 participants were lucky to get to the finals, which included Serdar Rakhimov.
Representing Turkmenistan at the Competition Finalists Forum young international workers of the CIS named after A.A. Gromyko, graduate IIR Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan successfully presented scientific work on the topic “The role of energy potential in foreign policy strategy of the states of the Caspian region" and was awarded diploma.
Let us note that Serdar is very talented, proactive, a broad-minded young man. As a student Higher School of Diplomacy, he was always in good standing with management and teachers of the native university and more than once with dignity represented our country in scientific and educational events abroad. Serdar is an active participant and multiple winner of various competitions and Olympiads state, regional and international level.
For example, in 2022 he became the winner of a scientific competition work among the youth of Turkmenistan, was awarded an honorary title “Best Young Scientist of the CIS”, and in 2023 received status “Best Student of the CIS”.
The young scientist and diplomat does not stop there and with great enthusiasm continues to grow, develop and improve your knowledge and abilities while in desire to contribute to the well-being and growth of the authority of the Motherland.
