Entrance exams have started at universities in Turkmenistan

Today, higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan started entrance exams for applicants entering the training in specialist and bachelor's programs.

During the period from July 15 to July 28, as part of the reception launched in the country campaign 2024 has successfully completed accepting documents from those interested join the ranks of university students in the country.

Entrance exams will be held for applicants from capital, Arkadag city and velayats of the country in specially appointed dates and will end in the third ten days of August. Reception examinations are carried out directly in higher education institutions of Turkmenistan.

For young people focused on learning master's program, entrance tests will begin at universities already this week.

The admission campaign in the country is proceeding at a high organizational level. The State Government is working on the ground commission that carries out organizational and methodological management of admission to study at universities and provides it carried out in the prescribed manner.

As previously reported, according to the annual tradition, this year in universities in the country have updated the list of programs they offer specialties. So, in the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year in 12 new areas of training are being launched at seven universities in the country in specialist, bachelor's and master's programs.

Along with the increase in the number of specialties also the enrollment of students in higher educational institutions of the country has increased.

It is planned to admit 15 thousand 926 students for the new academic year - 303 more than last year. 15 thousand 303 students will accept under specialist and bachelor's programs, another 623 – under master's program.

As you know, on July 12, as part of an extended meeting the head of state wished the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan success to young Turkmen students wishing to enroll in studies, and also outlined to representatives of the field education a number of priority tasks. Among them are admission to universities of talented, most worthy representatives younger generation, organized and fair conduct entrance exams.
