In the Dashoguz velayat, active preparations are underway to ready general education institutions for the new academic year. Cosmetic repair work is being carried out in school premises, classrooms are being equipped with visual aids, methodological materials, and other measures are being taken to ensure the effective conduct of the educational process.

Great attention is being paid to modernizing the material and technical base, including staffing educational institutions with teaching personnel, equipping them with modern computer technology, providing textbooks, addressing fire safety issues, and creating a quality learning environment. The velayat boasts a wide network of general education institutions.

There are 530 general education schools successfully operating here, including boarding schools. A significant portion of these are new modern educational institutions constructed in recent years. This year, another school with a capacity for 600 students is set to open its doors in the city of Dashoguz. Due to the high level of technical equipment in the schools, digital technologies are being widely integrated into the educational process today.

Alongside the intellectual development of students, much attention is also given to their physical development. For this purpose, general education institutions are equipped with sports halls and playgrounds, allowing students to actively engage in physical education and various sports.
