The Youth Chamber Ensemble of Turkmenistan will take part in the anniversary program of the «Young Euro Classic» festival, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The announcement of the concert of Turkmen musicians «Melody of the Garagum Desert», scheduled for the 24th of August, says: «Discover the diverse forms of expression in Turkmen music with string quartet and oboe, as well as solo works for dutar, gyjak and tuyduk ...».
The organizers of the festival provided information with photos about each member of the youth chamber ensemble of Turkmenistan, which will present the national musical art in the Konzerthaus Berlin. The concert program includes Turkmen folk melodies «Novayy», «Bal Sayat», works by Nura Halmammedov «String Quartet», «Song of Karkar» and «Sound of the Garagum Winds», «String Quartet» by Durdy Nuryyev, «Autumn» by Veli Muhadov, «Begler» by Suhan Toylyyev and other compositions.
Since the first season in 2000, the «Young Euro Classic» has become a platform for countries to share their cultural traditions. For a quarter of a century, 178 orchestras from 59 countries attended the Berlin festival, 26,544 young musicians presented unforgettable highlights.
Every year, the «Young Euro Classic» Festival is characterized by performances by outstanding symphony orchestras and their special repertoire. In addition to their own interpretations of the works of the European orchestral tradition, each orchestra is called upon to present the music of their homeland and, if possible, new works.
