President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich, who arrived in the Turkmen capital to take part in the meeting of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government.
Exchanging the views on the most important aspects of the Turkmen-Belarus partnership, the parties underlined the efficiency of cooperation in the trading and economic sphere, agriculture, chemical and processing industries that was vividly proved by a grandiose joint project on construction of the ore-dressing and processing enterprise producing potash fertilizers in Lebap Velayat that is of particular significance for the both states.
Within the framework of the meeting the guest was briefed on the progress in implementing construction works at the object, as well as on fulfillment of a number of agreements achieved during a recent meeting of the President of Turkmenistan and the President of Belarus. Given the significant volume of works carried out at the object, the Turkmen leader and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus agreed to develop the programme of events that would be submitted to the Turkmen leader for approval.
