President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov, who arrived in the Turkmen capital to take part in the meeting of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government.
During the meeting President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and his guest focused on wide prospects for further enhancing and diversifying the trading and economic relations, as well as the opportunities for fostering bilateral cooperation in such strategic spheres as energy and transportation. The successful cooperation between the two countries is vividly proved by a grandiose project on construction of the Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan-China transnational gas pipeline as well as the large-scale project on laying the North-South railway promising to be very profitable for the project participants, and the countries of the region as well.
