President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip round the Turkmen capital to see the progress in implementing the urban development programme and construction projects of social facilities.
During the flight the Turkmen leader got acquainted with the progress of reconstruction of the city highways. The President noted that such aspects as landscaping and infrastructure development in adjacent territories should be thoroughly considered along with application of advanced road construction technologies.
In this regard the President of Turkmenistan focused on the progress in implementing the plans for further modernizing and developing the transport and communications infrastructure of Ashgabat as an important factor for ensuring the versatile life of the Turkmen capital given the prospects of its development. In particular, the Turkmen leader inquired about the paces and the quality of construction of new highways, bridges, overpasses and interchanges, including in the regions under development.
The Turkmen leader paid particular attention to construction of the ring highway. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that it was necessary to take an integrated and well-thought approach given the quality of road construction and repairing works, bus stations, lighting and planting of greenery. Durdylyev to take the operational status of the complex of buildings of the Altyn Asyr eastern market built in the southern part of the Turkmen capital under the rigorous control.
