President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conducted a video conference with the cabinet ministers, the heads of ministries and departments and the velayat khyakims.
The video conference agenda focused on the progress in implementing the large-scale programmes of social and economic development of Turkmenistan within the epoch of happiness and power, the season agricultural campaigns, and the existing situation in various spheres as well as the measures taken to fulfill the Turkmen leader’s instructions.
Vice Premier A. Gochyev reported on the existing situation in the sectors under his supervision, in particular the work carried out by the institutions of the banking and financial system in order to fulfill the tasks set to them.
The Turkmen leader provided critical remarks to the Vice Premier on the mistakes in financial reports. The President of Turkmenistan demanded that the shortcomings be eliminated as soon as possible and instructed the Vice Premier to take the work of the financial and banking institutions of the country under the rigorous control.
Vice Premier B. Nurmyradova reported on the measures taken to improve the work of the cultural institutions, develop national mass media, and the preparations for events scheduled for near future.
Vice Premier N. Atagulyev reported on the existing situation in the sectors under his supervision and the measures taken to further modernization of the relevant infrastructure.
Vice Premier, Director of the State Agency for Hydrocarbons Use and Management Ya. Kakaev informed the Turkmen leader that the volumes of hydrocarbons production increased in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea.
Vice Premier A. Egeleev reported on the progress in implementing construction projects in the Turkmen capital and regions of the country, reconstructing and modernizing buildings and roads.
Commenting on the report, the Turkmen leader expressed dissatisfaction with the poor results of work in the construction sector and gave the relevant instructions to A. Egeleev.

Vice Premier A. Yazmyradov reported on the outcomes of the working visit to Mary Velayat, and the progress in implementing the seasonal agricultural campaigns, including the winter wheat harvesting campaign. The Vice Premier also reported the Turkmen leader on completion of the spring racing season.
Dwelling upon the issues, the President of Turkmenistan focused on such important aspects as proper organisations of the agricultural activities, timely construction of agro-industrial facilities, including grain elevators.
The Turkmen leader underlined the necessity to continue the work on wide popularization of ‘heavenly horses’ all around the world and increasing the international authority of the equestrian sports of Turkmenistan.
The Velayat Khyakims reported on the existing situation in the regions, on the progress in implementing agricultural campaigns, and construction works.
Commenting on the reports, the Turkmen leader expressed dissatisfaction with the serious shortcomings in implementing the agricultural campaigns and construction projects in the regions, and demanded the Velayat Khyakims to take all necessary measures to eliminate the shortcomings as soon as possible.
Particular attention was paid to the preparations for the summer holidays and the ceremony of opening of the International Children’s Festival in Avaza on June 9.
Then, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber B. Atdaev reported on the progress in implementing construction projects in the Belek settlement, Turkmenbashi Etrap, Balkan Velayat.
Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations A. Abaev reported on the existing situation in the sectors under his supervision.
Underlining that the dynamic development of the trading sphere, including
Enhancing the mutually beneficial relations with foreign partners served as a bright indicator of the progressive economic growth of the country, the Turkmen leader emphasized the necessity to ensure the efficient work of enterprises and institutions of this sphere in line with modern requirements.
Minister of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan B. Annameredov reported on the existing situation in the sector under his supervision and the progress in implementing large investment projects. In particular, the Minister informed the Turkmen leader on the progress in implementing the projects on construction of railway stations, depots, power supply systems, apartment houses, and other facilities of the infrastructure of the new railway Uzen-Gyzylgaya-Bereket-Etrek-Gorgan.
Then the floor was given to Chairman of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan Sh. Meredov, who reported on the existing situation in the sector under his supervision and informed the Turkmen leader on increasing the number of transactions and contracts concludes at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, as well as the number of foreign companies and enterprises representing the interests of dozens countries worldwide.
Commenting on the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlined the significance of fostering the measures taken in this area focusing on the necessity of thorough studying the experience of foreign exchanges and applying new efficient methods of work.
Dwelling upon the issue of exporting the excess of wheat grown in the country and flour from it, the Turkmen leader underlined the particular significance of this fact. The President of Turkmenistan instructed the relevant officials to export 300,000 tons of wheat grown in Turkmenistan and harvested in 2011 through the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
