The International University of Humanities and Development continues to register participants in the annual student Olympiads organized by the University with the support of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
IUHD will hold four subject Olympiads for students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan in the following areas: Modern Turkmen society, Specialized English, Chinese and Italian languages. A series of intellectual contests will be held from December 16 to December 20 in online format. Registration of participants is open on the university's website https://iuhd.edu.tm/competitions until December 12th. Those who wish to participate in competitions can apply to participate in one or more Olympiads. The number of applicants for participation from each university is unlimited. The Olympiads will be held in the form of individual competitions in the first round. The official languages of the Olympiads are Turkmen and English.
Depending on the direction of the Olympiad, participants will perform in one, two or three categories. For example, the participants of the Olympiad on Modern Turkmen society will compete in a common group. The Olympiad in specialized English will divide participants into three categories, according to their profile of training at universities. The first category will include students of technical fields, the second – humanities, the third will be those who study economics and management. Two groups of participants will be determined in the Chinese Language Olympiad – those specializing in the study of the subject and those for whom Chinese is a non– core discipline. Participating universities can offer 20 test tasks with a clear solution for each of the Olympiads, which must be submitted to the organizing committee 10 days before the start of the Olympiads.

Student intellectual competitions are held in order to develop and encourage young talents, scientific and creative activity of students, stimulate their interest in learning foreign languages and other sciences, identify the most capable participants, create favorable conditions for their intellectual development and choice of a future profession, educate erudite youth with a broad outlook, as well as expand the interaction of universities in the country, including through digital information and communication technologies.
