On November 20, 2024, a meeting was held at the MFA of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova and Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) Kaha Imnadze.
During the meeting, key aspects of the current cooperation were discussed and various directions of further interaction between Turkmenistan and the Regional Centre were considered.
The sides also exchanged views on the implementation of the goals outlined in Turkmenistan’s priority positions at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
The importance of a comprehensive approach to key issues on the global agenda and Turkmenistan’s contribution to their solution was emphasized.
