An information day on the EU Erasmus+ program was held at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan for the university’s faculty and students.
During the event, the coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Turkmenistan, Ayna Chorekliyeva, presented information on the opportunities provided by this program in the field of higher education for universities in Turkmenistan. The participants of the meeting got acquainted with various areas of the program, such as Capacity Building in Higher Education; International Credit Mobility; Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degrees and the Jean Monnet Program.
Teachers and students of the Turkmen Energy Institute received information on how to apply for various projects and scholarship programs.
Erasmus+ is a European Union programme for the period 2021-2027. The programme is coordinated by the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture, based in Brussels, Belgium. The EU Erasmus+ programme aims to support projects in the fields of education, vocational training, staff training, sport and youth work, creating additional educational and financial opportunities for students, staff of higher education institutions and the universities themselves. The European Union Erasmus+ programme builds on more than 25 years of experience and achievements of European programmes in the fields of education, training and youth.
