The State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan organized the "White Dove – Messenger of Peace" initiative for the young citizens of the country. It was dedicated to the symbol of 2025 – the "International Year of Peace and Trust."

In the foyer of the Academy, elementary school students from Ashgabat were welcomed by an exhibition showcasing the emblem of 2025, models of monuments adorning the capital, as well as original sculptures from the museum of the Golden Fund of the creative university.

The initiative had an educational and patriotic character. In an accessible format, specialists from the Academy presented information to the children about symbols that they encounter daily on the streets of their capital. The majestic monuments reflect significant events in the history of the country, and every citizen, including children, should know what each monument is dedicated to.

The children listened attentively to stories about the landmarks of the capital. Many of them recognized the originals in the models and named their locations in the city.

The "White Dove – Messenger of Peace" initiative will also be remembered by young citizens for a guided tour of the State Academy of Arts. The main exhibit of this event was Akhmet Gurbangeldiyev's sculptural composition "Peace." The sculpture depicts a boy playing with white doves, unaware that they are messengers of peace. For him, they are friends—loyal and beautiful—capable of soaring through clouds or trustingly landing on his hands and shoulders. The guests of the Academy visited the museum of the university’s Golden Fund, where they explored exhibits with great interest. With childlike curiosity, boys examined sculptural compositions such as "Football Players" and "Playing Alchiks". The girls were captivated by the sculpture "Princess Playing Chess." Meanwhile, everyone admired the composition "Devoted Family." Sculptor Selbi Jumadurdyeva created a family of Alabai dogs in plaster and then painted their coats. The artist also managed to capture expressive eyes for each family member. This sculptural composition won first place at a competitive exhibition in 2023 dedicated to Turkmen Alabai Day.

The tour continued in the gallery, where specialists drew young visitors' attention to works featuring doves. Among these were "Harbinger of Peace" by Lachin Taganova, "Project" by Jeyran Umarova, "Prosperity" by Aksoltan Hommadova, "Melegush" by Rustam Haitov, and others.

By engaging with these beautiful works of art, children were inspired by the beauty of the world around them—a world that must be cherished and protected by all inhabitants of our planet, regardless of age.
