The special feature of Novruz Bayrama perfectly corresponds to Turkmenistan's foreign policy course aimed at expanding international cooperation and uniting the efforts of the world community in solving global problems of our time, preserving world peace, affirming democratic values in society, developing interethnic dialogue, preserving and protecting the environment, etc.

This year, Turkmenistan is preparing to celebrate the National Spring Holiday - the International Day of Novruz, on a large scale and vividly.

Last week at the Cabinet of Ministers meeting, Deputy Prime Minister B. Seyidova reported on preparations for events on the occasion of this wonderful holiday.

As it was reported, the celebration planned to be held at the place “Nowruz Ýaýlasy” on the territory of the Ak Bugday etrap of the Akhal Velayat will be based on the works of the Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, as well as reflect the national traditions associated with Novruz.

It is also planned to organize various exhibitions, performances, song-musical performances in which the customs of our people related to agriculture, livestock, gardening and crafts will be reproduced in all diversity.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of holding the National Spring Holiday - International Novruz Day, at a high level and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to properly organize cultural events in the squares in front of the “Turkmeniń Ak öyi” buildings in the regions of the country on the occasion of the upcoming holiday.

In all the variety of its ancient traditions, Novruz appears as a remarkable world phenomenon. Going beyond his geographical limits, it spreads around the world, like life giving sun rays.
