The Grand Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kulieva hosted a solo concert of Atageldi Garyagdyev, People's Artist of Turkmenistan, Professor of the Department of Solo Singing, accompanied by the Chamber Orchestra of Tahir Ataev.
The concert was dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, so the program included national and foreign pop, folk songs, as well as instrumental music.
The musical evening for instrumental music lovers began with the famous work of Nury Halmammedov, "Kerven," performed by the orchestra. This piece, which captured the spirit of caravan travelers moving from one settlement to another, from one country to another, became the prologue to the international theme of the concert.
Atageldi Garyagdyev started his performance with the song "Näzlim uz maňa" by Chary Nurymov. The soloist is often called the Golden Baritone of the country. In some opera and pop works, his velvety voice plays with shimmering shades. Among the works performed by him that evening were "Come Back to Sorrento," "Thank You," and "Melody."
The Golden Baritone of the country manages to convey romanticism and deep emotional experiences in the works he performs. During the performance of Muslim Magomayev's song "Blue Eternity," the audience, expressing admiration for the beauty of his voice, stood up. Among the spectators, there were cries of "Bravo!"
The concert program included several songs by Danatar Hydyrov. The optimistic and ringing songs of this composer lifted the mood of the audience. Not surprisingly, Atageldi Garyagdyev ended his performance with the song "Şadyýan gün," in which the beautiful music of Danatar Hydyrov, set to the verses of Gurbannazar Ezizov, combined with the singer's personal charm and beautiful voice, moved the audience to tears.
The Chamber Orchestra performed Azerbaijani and Turkish folk musical works – "Sensiz" and "Üsküdara." The professor of vocals and the conductor of the orchestra concluded the musical evening with a firm friendly handshake.
