President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who was on a working visit to Rio de Janeiro to participate in the UN Conference on Sustainable Development Rio+20, had a meeting with United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, Sha Zukang.

An exchange of views on the current state and prospects of long-term cooperation, the effectiveness of which was illustrated by a number of important projects and programmes launched in various areas, took place in a friendly atmosphere during the meeting.
