President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov completed the working visit to Rio de Janeiro, where the Turkmen leader participated in the UN Conference on Sustainable Development Rio+20.
As was reported, addressing the global forum, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov put forward the concrete proposals to address the urgent problems of the modern times and a number of international initiatives aimed at creating favourable conditions for the global sustainable development.
Thus, the Turkmen leader has once again reaffirmed the willingness of Turkmenistan to use its peacemaking potential to achieve the Millennium Development Goals – peace, security and sustainable development.
After an hours-long flight, the President’s airliner landed at the Ashgabat International Airport. Cabinet ministers, heads of the Mejlis, military and law-enforcement agencies, and other officials cordially greeted the Turkmen leader at the airport.
