A personal exhibition of sculptor Maksat Hojainov and painter-graphic artist Dilaram Hojainava has opened at the State Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan.

The exposition is presented in various genres and styles, reflecting the richness of the Turkmen art school and the young artists’ aspiration for new forms of self-expression. The works of the authors are united by deep spirituality, respect for national traditions, and a desire to showcase the modern development of Turkmen art.

Maksat Hojainov, a successor of the sculptural school, was born in 1983 in Ahal velayat. He graduated from the Turkmen State Specialized Art School, and later from the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, where he studied under renowned masters Saragt Babayev and Mukhammet Yuzbashev. Today, Maksat is a lecturer in the Department of Sculpture at the Academy and actively participates in exhibitions and competitions.

In his easel and monumental works, the young sculptor glorifies heroism, spiritual heritage, and the creative greatness of the Turkmen people. A special place in his art is given to images of national heroes, poets, musicians, and bakhshi.

Dilaram Hojainova, born in 1989 in Turkmenabat, represents a new generation of Turkmen painters. She studied painting at the specialized art school and at the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan. Her works are dominated by warm tones, reflecting inner harmony, emotional warmth, and inspiration. The artist boldly experiments with techniques and materials, creating images filled with vitality and a subtle sense of color.

Despite the difference in their mediums — sculpture and painting — the works of Maksat and Dilaram Hojainov are united by inner harmony.

Their creative family union serves as an inspiration for a new generation of artists, affirming the value of art as an integral part of the spiritual development of society.

The personal exhibition of these young artists is open to visitors until Sunday.
