Ilyas Ovezgeldyev. One of the first Turkmens - full holder of the Orders of Glory
By their statute, full holders of the Orders of Glory were equated with heroes. There were four such warriors-order-bearers in the history of Turkmenistan: Akhmed Allaberdiyev, Ilyas Ovezgeldyev, Akhmed Annadurdyev and Mukhamedkuli Durdyev. The oldest among them was Ilyas Ovezgeldyev, born on February 12, 1914.

Rich crop has been gathered
The agriculturists of Dashoguz velayat, as in previous year, has successfully fulfilled a state order on harvesting of certain varieties of grain legumes and oil crops. The largest mungbean, kidney bean and sesame growers are S.Turkmenbashy etrap and Kunyaurgench etrap, where a huge experience is accumulated on their cultivation under unfavorable weather and climatic conditions of the north region of the country. The gathered from the fields harvest passed the quality control in the respective specialized laboratories.

Archaeologists discovered valuable finds in Abiverd
Purposeful work continues within the framework of the program of in-depth study and preservation of the national historical and cultural heritage of Turkmenistan initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the search for its still undisclosed pages bringing its worthy results. New artifacts discovered by Turkmen archaeologists during the autumn excavation season at the Abiverd monument in the Kaakhka etrap of the Ahal velayat are another confirmation of this.

Mausoleum in memory of the beautiful Zubeida
