The Tahyr Atayev Orchestra gave children a fairy tale
The musical fairy tale "The Adventures of Buratino" accompanied by the Tahyr Atayev Orchestra took place at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater. The show's host, Sona Ovezmyradova, cozily settled on a chair at the edge of the stage and began reading the author’s fairy tale about the adventures of a wooden boy named Buratino, whom Papa Carlo carved out of an ordinary log. Along with Buratino, other characters of incredible adventures appeared before the audience as they took part in the story.

Chess players from Central Asian countries take the lead at the "Ashgabat 2025" International Tournament
Chess players from three Central Asian countries – Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan – have taken the lead after six rounds at the ongoing international chess tournament "Ashgabat 2025" in the Turkmen capital. A total of 129 athletes (70 boys and 59 girls) aged 8, 10, and 12 from 11 countries – Vietnam, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Russia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan – are competing for 12 sets of medals in rapid chess and blitz competitions.
