Turkmenistan and the Great Britain signed 4 memorandums of cooperation in the field of education
During a working visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain by the Turkmen government delegation, led by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of foreign affairs Rashid Meredov, a series of productive meetings were held with leading British universities, education quality assurance organisations, and international education companies. The Turkmen side was represented at the meetings by deputy minister of education of Turkmenistan Azat Atayev.

Turkmenistan and the United Kingdom Expand Cooperation in Science and Culture
As a separate item of the visit programme to the United Kingdom, a meeting was held between the Turkmen delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and Professor Timothy Williams of the Institute of Archaeology at University College London (UCL). Following the meeting, an Agreement was signed between the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the UCL Institute of Archaeology.
