Turkmen teachers participate in international training courses to improve their qualifications

Methodological and practical online training has begun for teachers of Turkmenistan as part of the professional development program «Creating and managing a personality-oriented educational environment».

The event was organised by the UNESCO Institute for information technologies in education, the Laboratory for the development of individual potential in education at Moscow state pedagogical university, and the Russian Federation charitable foundation «Contribution to the future».

The trainings are attended by professors, teachers, methodologists, scientists and researchers from the National institute of education of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen state university named after Magtymguly, the Turkmen state pedagogical institute named after S. Seydi, the Turkmen national institute of world languages named after D. Azady, the Pedagogical secondary professional school named after Berdimuhamet Annayev in Arkadag, the Pedagogical school named after B. Seytakov and specialised secondary school № 25 in Dashoguz.

Teachers from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are also participating in the international event.

On the first day of training, the audience of participants enjoyed informative lectures and interactive general lessons.

The training program is 108 hours long and consists of two stages. The first stage takes place in February, the second in March.

The trainings will be conducted under the guidance of leading foreign scientists, specialists, and experienced international trainers.

A series of practical classes in small groups is provided for the participants-colleagues from different countries, during which they will perform interesting tasks on creating and managing an educational environment for personal development, as well as have the opportunity to share their pedagogical experience and the results of their scientific and methodological work.

The training will cover topics such as «Creating and assessing a prosperous environment in educational institutions», «Emotional intelligence and its tools», «Creating information centres for managing the formation of a personality-developing educational environment and establishing cooperation between them», «Artificial intelligence in the work of teachers and administrators», «Evidence-based approaches in education», «International practices for creating a developing educational environment for the well-being, Health, and personal development of children», and many others.

A series of thematic webinars, interactive discussions, debates, and presentations are also planned for the practical training program, which promises to be interesting and productive for educators.

The expected results of the trainings are to familiarise participants with the content of the program «Creating and managing a personality-oriented educational environment», exploring ways to apply it in their professional activities, and acquiring new knowledge and skills in the field of methods and technologies for teaching personal development in educational institutions.

In order to further implement the results of methodological and practical training by teachers, it is planned to jointly develop an Action plan. The event will greatly contribute to the intensification of international cooperation in the field of education.
