As part of a working visit to London, a delegation from the International University for humanities and development (IUHD) held talks with the leadership of the University of Westminster.
The main outcome of the meeting was a discussion of specific steps to create double degree programs in the «2+2» and «1+1» formats.
The parties confirmed their readiness for active cooperation in this area and also agreed to launch exchange programs, short-term summer schools, and joint online courses in key areas. Particular attention was paid to the exchange of experience in teaching academic English and the introduction of new educational methods.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to prepare official agreements through diplomatic channels.
An important event of the visit was the international conference at the University of Westminster dedicated to the 35th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan. Representatives of the IUHD presented reports on the foreign policy of the country, based on the principles of permanent neutrality, and also spoke about achievements of Turkmenistan in the field of education.
During a working visit to London, delegates from Turkmenistan visited the main campuses of the British university on Regent Street and Marylebone Street, where they learned about the modern research centres, libraries, and laboratories of one of the leading universities of the United Kingdom.
At these meetings, the parties focused on practical cooperation. British colleagues invited IUHD students to participate in short-term study trips to London and also proposed holding joint online classes on the topics of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which will allow students to exchange experiences and master modern teaching methods.
