Three daughters grew up in the family of People's Artists of Turkmenistan Murad Seyniyazov and Sakhriya Aliyeva. It would seem that the daughters were sure to be attracted by the scene, and their fates were predetermined - to follow in the footsteps of their parents. But in reality it turned out differently. One daughter - Bakhty - chose music, and after graduating from a music school, she became a music teacher. The other, Selvi, became an economist, although she dreamed of choreography and even entered the Moscow Choreographic School, but for health reasons she had to leave him.
And the main heroine of our story is Myahri. Since childhood, she was a great book lover and re-read all the books in her house and with her neighbors, and then became the most diligent reader of the library at the club of railway workers and the Ashgabat city library named after Berdy Kerbabaev. After graduating from school, Myakhri applied for admission to the Moscow State Institute of Culture, but after learning that a full-time department of library science and bibliography was opening at the Turkmen State University at the Faculty of Russian Philology, the applicant redirected her documents there. From that moment on, her fate was not the stage, but the book.
After graduating from the university, Myahri received a referral for those times to the best State Library of Turkmenistan. For 10 years Myakhry Muradovna worked as a librarian, combining the knowledge gained at the university with daily practical activities. She had learned long ago that the foundation of librarianship is impeccable order. And not only each book has its own individual place on the shelf, it is also "registered" in the alphabetical and subject indexes, in the books of accounting records, and now in the computer.
10 years later, Myakhri Muradova was offered to head the State Children's Library named after Bazar Amanov with a book fund of more than 250 thousand copies of mainly children's Turkmen and foreign fiction. Working in a children's library has its own specifics. A librarian needs to be able to find a common language with a small reader, help him become interested in reading, suggest an interesting book. And for this, the librarian must be a reader himself. Of course, it is impossible to re-read the entire book fund of a quarter of a million. And, nevertheless, it is necessary to approach the maximum. Myakhri Muradovna introduced young readers to the heroes of Turkmen folk tales, such as Yartygulak, Akpamyk, Bovendzhik and others, and older children - to the classics of children's literature - books by Anatoly Rybakov, Anatoly Aleksin, Viktor Dragunsky, Jules Verne, Mark Twain. This is all that leaves an indelible mark in childhood, sharing their feats and achievements with the brave heroes.
Children's poets and writers Kayum Tanrykuliev, Nury Bayramov, Yagmyr Pirkuliev, Kasym Nurbatov, Kurban Choliev became frequent guests of little readers. Unfortunately, now these writers are not with us, but Agageldy Allanazarov and Khemra Shirov invite their colleagues - a new generation of writers, and meetings with readers continue. As a rule, they end with the distribution of signatures by the writers on their own works. And it brings readers closer to talented writers of interesting and instructive stories.
Having changed several addresses, the Children's Library named after Bazara Amanova moved to the very building from which Myakhri Muradovna's labor activity began. For her great services in enlightening the young generation of Turkmen citizens, Myakhri Muradova was awarded the Honorary title "Honored Worker of Culture of Turkmenistan". For 30 years, Myakhri Muradovna headed the collective of the main children's library of the country, and then gave up the chair to the head of the youth, who needed to develop professionally. But until now, Myakhri Muradovna generously shares her valuable experience and encyclopedic knowledge, accumulated over the years of working with the book, with young employees who are just mastering the very interesting and necessary profession of a librarian. Young professionals are lucky to have such a good mentor.
