As it is known, in the near future (on September 24), a regular meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan will be held in the Maslahat köşgi of Ashgabat. Over the past time, in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state of Turkmenistan, under the leadership of respected President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, great successes have been achieved in the political, economic and socio-cultural spheres. To a large extent, the decisions and documents adopted at the Halk Maslakhaty promoted the general course for the development of the country and the well-being of the population.

Today, Arkadagly Serdar successfully continues the course of following a creative foreign policy strategy based on the principles of positive neutrality, peacefulness, good neighborliness and constructive international cooperation, which significantly strengthens the authority of Turkmenistan on the world stage.

Reforms in democratization of the state and society, the expansion of the rights and freedoms of citizens, and the improvement of the standard of living of the population are continuing in the country. These transformations are a clear confirmation of the practical implementation of the scientifically grounded doctrine of the President of Turkmenistan, expressed in the motto “The Homeland is the Homeland only with the People! The State is a State only with the People!”

At the time, it was completely justified, taking into account the practice of state-building developed by our people throughout its centuries-old history, guided by the noble traditions of our ancestors – to solve the most important political, economic, socio-cultural issues together with authorized public representatives during national forums actively, and the proposals of the population on the creation of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan were supported.

Since then, the main activities of Halk Maslakhaty have been the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and the strategic reform of our country, strengthening unity and stability in the Turkmen society.

The creation and determination of the composition of the permanent Presidium are of particular importance for the constructive conduct of the activities of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan. In its work, the Presidium organizes work on the preparation of the meetings of the Halk Maslakhaty, decides on the inclusion of issues in the draft agenda of its meetings. It solves issues related to the convocation and holding of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, and other tasks related to its full powers.

Today Turkmenistan, whose permanent neutrality status has been twice recognized and confirmed by the UN, is preparing to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the country’s independence with great achievements in politics, economy and socio-cultural fields.

Some time ago, or rather on July 14 of this year, Dear Arkadagly Serdar held an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, at which he gave specific commissions on preparing for the celebration of the 32nd anniversary of independence of our country and organizing a meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, which will take place on the eve of this glorious date.

Then a meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan was held in Maslahatlar merkezi under the chairmanship of the Hero-Arkadag, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to consider specific issues related to the preparation for the independence day of the country and the next meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty.

The issues discussed at the meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslakhaty included, in addition to organizational issues, the most important tasks of ensuring the dynamic development of the country and the well-being of our people. At the same time, at the meeting of the Presidium, the respected elders approved all the preparatory measures for the celebration of the independence of Turkmenistan.
