Schoolchildren from Turkmenistan became the owners of one silver and 7 bronze medals at the event held in Almaty XX International Zhautykov Olympiad in Mathematics, physics and computer science.
Over 700 schoolchildren from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, India, Indonesia and Mongolia.
The intellectual competition took place at the base Republican Physics and Mathematics School under the auspices of Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Daryn" at Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan and Akimat of Almaty.
A total of 344 medals were awarded. Participants who showed best results, awarded special awards from the Foundation named after Nurlan Kapparov, diplomas and valuable prizes.
The goal of the international Zhautykov Olympiad mathematics, physics and computer science - popularization of physics mathematical and IT knowledge among schoolchildren, development international cooperation with physical and mathematical schools in different countries.
