The sixth game of the qualifying round of the III season of the project "Young Messengers of Peace", conducted by the university and the School of Young Diplomats in its composition among high school students of Turkmenistan, took place at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

According to tradition, eight players participated in the intellectual competition, which included students from grades 11 of secondary schools in Ashgabat, Akhal, Balkan and Mary velayats.

The VI game of the season was dedicated to the theme "Ahmed Shah Durrani. The foreign policy and international relations of the Durranid State". Recall that the III season of the project is held under the general slogan "The teachings of the great Makhtumkuli Fragi – the national light of universal human values" in honor of the 300th anniversary of the poet's birth. Based on this, the content of each game, along with thematic tasks, also includes questions about the life and work of Makhtumkuli.

The next game of the career-oriented project for schoolchildren was spectacular and interesting. The erudite participants, who plan to link their future with a diplomatic career, managed to demonstrate good knowledge and the ability to conduct an intellectual struggle.

The performances of the young messengers of peace were evaluated by the members the competent jury, which included senior lecturer of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the IIR Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Begench Karaev, Head of the Department of Handwritten sources of Turkmen History of the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts named after Makhtumkuli AST Geldymurat Mukhammedov and Head of the Department of Archaeology and Ethnology of the TSPU named after Makhtumkuli Myakhri Pereliyeva.

By the decision of the jury, two participants who received a ticket to the semi-finals of the competition were declared winners. They were Perkhat Orazmuradov, a student of secondary specialized school No. 43 Sakarchage etrap of Mary velayat and Dovletgeldi Parakhadov, a student of secondary school No. 10 of Sarakhs etrap of Akhal Velayat.

The winners and all participants of the game were awarded Certificates of Honor from the Institute and valuable gifts from the sponsors of the event - the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of Makhtumkuli AST, Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli, the National Archery Federation of Turkmenistan, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as well as the NGO "Abadan haly", ES "Aýdyň gijeler", IP "Ýedi dogan", ES "Muhammet Balkan", IP "Düwmejik" and IP "Ak Menzili".

In the coming days, the VI game of the project "Young Messengers of Peace" will be shown for Turkmen viewers on the air of the national TV channel "Miras", whose staff, together with representatives of the IIR training studio of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country, filmed and recorded the competition.
