Following the results of the talks between National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedova and President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Dushanbe a package of bilateral documents was signed.
The parties have signed:
- The Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2024-2025;
- The Cooperation Agreement between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Centre for Advanced Training and Retraining of the Diplomatic Service Personnel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- The Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan and the Committee for Architecture and Construction under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- The Memorandum of Mutual Understanding between the Institute of Seismology and Physics of Atmosphere of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and Institute of Geology, Seismological Construction and Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- The Agreement between the khyakimlik of Arkadag city (Turkmenistan) and the Executive office of the local government of Khujand (Sughd region, Republic of Tajikistan) on establishment of brotherly relations between the cities of Arkadag and Khujand.
The signed package of bilateral documents following the results of the Turkmen-Tajik negotiations in Dushanbe will strengthen partnership in various spheres for the benefit of peoples of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tajikistan.
