National Leader of Turkmen People met with the Chairman of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy

On September 26, 2024, the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the Chairman of the Joint Stock Company «CLAAS» (Germany), Chairman of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Cathrina Claas-Mühlhäuser.

Expressing her heartfelt gratitude for meeting time, the guest congratulated the National Leader of Turkmen people on the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence and addressed her best wishes to all people of Turkmenistan.

Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty thanked Cathrina Claas-Mühlhäuser for her congratulations and expressed confidence that her visit would be an important step in strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as give a new impetus to the activities of CLAAS in the Turkmen market.

Today our countries cooperate fruitfully in almost all areas, including political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, noted the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty.

The prospects for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed at the meeting. It was emphasized that a number of leading German companies, in particular «CLAAS», one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery, have been successfully operating in Turkmenistan for many years.

At the end of the meeting, having exchanged mutual good wishes, the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the head of the CLAAS Company, Chairman of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Cathrina Claas-Mühlhäuser expressed confidence that the traditional bilateral cooperation would continue to develop successfully on the principles of mutual benefit.
