Students of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly became participants of the international student round table on the topic “Clean Energy – Energy of the Future: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow”, held online at the initiative of the Astrakhan State University named after V.N.Tatishchev.

The event was also attended by the head of the UNESCO Department of TSU named after Magtymguly "Cultural Heritage: from the Past to the Future", candidate of historical sciences B. Divangulieva and representatives of the UNESCO Department "Learning Society and Sustainable Socio-Economic Development" of ASU named after V.N.Tatishchev.

Medine Sopytaganova, a student majoring in history, and Arslan Hanmedov, a student majoring in ecology at TSU named after Magtymguly, presented scientific reports on the topics of "Renewable energy: the key to a sustainable future for Turkmenistan" and "Possibilities for the development of solar energy in Central Asian countries". S. Ergeshov, a student majoring in radiophysics and electronics at the TSU named after Magtymguly, spoke about the possibilities of the combined use of renewable energy sources.

The round table provided an opportunity to study the theoretical and practical experience of university students and to widely discuss current issues in the field of green energy development.

Representatives of TSU named after Magtymguly took part in an international meeting within the framework of the cooperation agreement between Turkmen and Russian universities.
