Turkmenistan is preparing for the opening of the Magtymguly Fragi cultural and park complex and the monument to the outstanding Turkmen poet in Ashgabat. As Deputy Prime Minister for Culture M. Mammedova reported during a government meeting via video link, in accordance with the instructions given by the head of state, sculptures of famous figures, prominent writers and artists in words of foreign countries are to be installed within this complex.

    At the State Museum of Fine Arts, a conversation between Turkmen artists and students of the Turkmen State Art School and the State Music College named after. D. People's Artist of Turkmenistan Saragt Babayev shared with students of the State Art School a story about the creative process of working on the monument to Magtymguly Pragy, which, from the moment it was erected in the foothills of the Kopetdag, has become a cult statue of the great poet. By the way, this monument has already found a place in the paintings of many students of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan.
