The exposition held in the temporary exhibition hall of the Historical and Local Lore Museum of Dashoguz velayat is dedicated to the motto of the year 2024 in Turkmenistan "The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi" and the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great classic of Turkmen literature.

It is composed of paintings, sculptures, jewelry and some other exhibits that are characteristic of the time period in which the poet-philosopher lived and created. The exhibition also showcases the poetry collections of Magtymguly Fragi, biographical books about him and other publications about the life and works of the classic poet.

One of the central exhibits is a sculptural work by B. Annamedov, a member of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan, in which he skillfully depicts Magtymguly in a moment of creative inspiration and reflection on new brilliant poems.

Visitors will undoubtedly be drawn to the antique phonograph and gramophone records with songs on the verses of the Turkmen classical poet. According to museum staff, this exhibition will be ongoing throughout the current year.

As in the whole country, the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and thinker will be widely celebrated in Dashoguz velayat. The permanent exposition in the temporary exhibition hall of the Historical and Local Lore Museum of Dashoguz velayat is just one of the numerous cultural and educational events dedicated to this significant date and the motto of the year.
