The head of the state has given a start to the construction of the next wells at the huge gas deposit «Galkynysh» and a new building in Mary region
Today President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during his working trip to Mary region has visited the largest gas deposit «Galkynysh» where in the context of the actions developed in the entire country to welcome worthily the 30th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan has given a star to the construction of new wells and also has taken part in the stone-laying ceremony of a premise for organization of mass festive events at the building «Türkmeniň ak öýi» in the region administrative centre.

The success of the potato growers of the northern region
Planting of autumn potatoes has been completed in the north of the country. This year, in the Dashoguz velayat, the bulk of the area for the second crop in the year is located in the etrap named after Gurbansoltan-edzhe, which is the largest producer of the "earthen apple" in the region. Large volumes of autumn potatoes will also be grown in the Niyazov etrap and the Gubadag etrap. Due to the high level of work organization, the availability of a sufficient amount of high-quality seed and specialized equipment, an important agrotechnical event was successfully carried out in a short time. Potato growers expect to collect at least 140 centners of tubers from each hectare before the onset of cold weather.

The event in honor of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Turkic republics took place in Hungary. This is reported by the official website of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY). A large-scale festival in Budapest, organized by TURKSOY jointly with the Turkic Council, the Yunus Emre Institute and the House of Hungarian Heritage, was dedicated to the anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY Associate Professor, Dr. Bilal Chakyjy and General Director of the House of Hungarian Heritage Laszlo Kelemen made a welcoming speech at the event.
