Agricultural sector of our country is a priority for state policy. Providing this sector with modern, highly productive, and powerful equipment, creating all the conditions for a bountiful harvest, and consistently improving the social and living conditions of rural workers further inspires their work. A bountiful annual harvest is evidence of the well-coordinated organisation of work in this area of the national economy.

The annual celebration of the «Harvest holiday» on the second Sunday of November has become a well-deserved tradition. As throughout the country, the Lebap velayat has also launched extensive preparatory activities for the upcoming holiday, highlighting the work being carried out in the agricultural sector.

A large-scale exhibition organised in honour of the harvest masters holiday at the museum of history and local lore of the velayat is part of these events. Active members of the Democratic and Agrarian parties of Turkmenistan, representatives of public organisations, older generations, experienced tenants and machine operators, and cultural and artistic figures participated in the opening ceremony of the exhibition, «Rysgally topragyň bereket mukamy».

Speakers at the ceremony emphasised the scale of commitment and the ongoing efforts of the government to strengthen the material and technical infrastructure of agricultural enterprises. Those gathered viewed the exhibition, which showcased a wide range of products grown on the fertile Turkmen soil, as well as examples of ancient farming practices and museum treasures related to the national heritage.
