This coming weekend, Ashgabat residents and guests of the capital will have the opportunity to attend theatrical performances and concert programs. Our review highlights where to enjoy good music and which plays are worth seeing.

On November 21 at 19:00, a concert by Polish pianist Wojciech Waleczek will take place at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan. Accompanied by the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan conducted by Resul Gylyjov, he will perform Piano Concerto No. 1 by Frederic Chopin. Admission is free.

Wojciech Waleczek is a laureate of numerous international competitions, including the Arthur Rubinstein Competition in New York, the Franz Liszt Competition in Parma, and the Piano Competition in Palermo. In addition to solo concerts, the pianist performs with chamber ensembles and symphony orchestras. Waleczek is acclaimed in Europe, the USA, Canada, Japan, Argentina, Jordan, and other countries.
